DAKA® Pouches Magpul DAKA Large Pouch FDE Safety Instruction Guide

Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Magpul DAKA Pouch. This guide provides essential safety instructions and guidelines for the safe use, installation, and disposal of your DAKA Pouch. Please read this manual carefully to ensure a safe and effective experience with your product.

General Safety Guidelines

Always inspect the pouch for any visible damage before use. Do not use if damaged.
Ensure that the pouch is suitable for your intended use, especially when storing heavier items.
Keep the pouch away from sharp objects that could puncture or damage the material.
Avoid submerging the pouch in water, as it is not 100% waterproof.
Store the pouch in a cool, dry place when not in use to maintain its integrity.
Do not overload the pouch beyond its intended capacity to prevent strain on the seams and zippers.
Keep the pouch out of reach of small children to avoid potential choking hazards from any detachable parts or accessories.

Specific Safety Precautions for Use

When using the pouch in wet conditions, ensure that all items stored inside are also waterresistant or waterproof.
Use caution when handling the YKK AquaGuard® zipper to avoid pinching fingers.
If using the pouch for storing tools or ammunition, ensure that it is kept away from heat sources or open flames.
For enhanced grip, use the 550 paracord with heat shrink tubing, especially when wearing gloves.
When marking the pouch with a paint pen, allow sufficient time for the ink to dry to avoid smudging.

Instructions for Installation and Usage

Usage:
1. Open the YKK AquaGuard® zipper completely to access the interior of the pouch.
2. Place your items inside the pouch, ensuring even distribution of weight.
3. Close the zipper securely to protect contents from moisture and dirt.
4. For added convenience, use the carabineer attachment points to secure the pouch to a backpack or belt.
Installation (if applicable):
1. Identify the desired location for use, ensuring it is free from sharp edges and potential hazards.
2. If attaching to a larger storage system, ensure that the attachment points are securely fastened.
3. Test the stability of the pouch after installation to ensure it is secure.

Disposal Instructions

Dispose of the pouch responsibly in accordance with local regulations.
If the pouch is damaged beyond repair, consider recycling the materials if possible.
Do not incinerate the pouch, as it may release harmful substances when burned.
