BROWNELLS CROWN SAVER™ LATHE CENTER COVER The Brownells Crown Saver™ Lathe Center Cover helps protect a finished barrel crown during machining operations. Designed to fit between the muzzle and a lathe or mill center, these precision-machined brass cones allow gunsmiths to perform chambering, threading, fluting, polishing, and other barrel work while minimizing the risk of damaging the crown or rifling. Manufactured from 360 brass, each Crown Saver is machined to within 0.0002" (0.005mm) concentricity or less, providing exceptional accuracy while protecting the bore. The cone remains securely seated and resists spinning when the barrel is mounted in the lathe, helping prevent rifling deformation and crown damage during setup and machining operations. FEATURES Protects finished barrel crowns during machining operations. Ideal for threading, chambering, fluting, and polishing work. Precision-machined brass construction. Specific Safety Precautions for Use

Verify that the size of the Crown Saver matches the bore of your barrel:
- Small fits bores .17 to .45 caliber.
- Large fits bores up to .50 caliber.
Do not exceed the recommended number of uses for the Crown Saver on barrels of the same caliber. For best results, do not use the Crown Saver more than once per barrel.
Ensure that the Crown Saver is properly seated and will not spin in the bore during operation.
Avoid using excessive force when inserting the Crown Saver to prevent damage to the rifling or crown.
