Precision-machined, aircraft-grade aluminum instrument eliminates guesswork when adjusting your scope to fire at elevated, or very low targets. The orange needle moves with your rifle and displays a number that indicates the percent your rifle is off level. Multiply the indicated percent by the target distance to easily calculate the adjusted distance for gravity. Dovetailed bottom fits onto the aluminum mount (listed separately) which fits Picatinny and Weaver-style rails. Or, mount an extra Weaver-style ring on your scope tube and clamp the Indicator in the ring’s dovetail. Ring not included. Lets you keep your face on the cheekpiece and see the Indicator. Mil-Spec version is waterproof for 35 minutes and 1 meter of water.

3. For mounting without the aluminum mount, attach an extra Weaverstyle ring to your scope tube and secure the Indicator in the ring's dovetail.
4. Ensure that all connections are tight and secure before proceeding.
Usage:
1. Position your rifle in a stable shooting position.
2. Keep your face on the cheekpiece while aiming to maintain a proper sight line to the Indicator.
3. Observe the orange needle; it will indicate the percent your rifle is off level.
4. Multiply the indicated percent by the target distance to calculate the adjusted distance for gravity.
5. After use, remove the COSINE INDICATOR and store it in a safe, dry place.
