Introduction

Thank you for choosing the STANDARD LINE STAINLESS STEEL RIMFIRE RIFLE BORE BRUSHES from BROWNELLS. This guide provides essential safety instructions and usage guidelines to ensure your safe and effective use of this product. Please read this manual carefully before use.

General Safety Guidelines

Ensure that the product is used only for its intended purpose as a bore brush for cleaning firearms.
Always handle the bore brush with care to avoid injury.
Keep the bore brush out of reach of children and vulnerable individuals.
Be aware of your surroundings and ensure that no one is in the vicinity while cleaning your firearm.
Regularly inspect the bore brush for wear or damage before each use. Do not use if damaged.

Specific Safety Precautions for Use

Use only in wellventilated areas to avoid inhalation of any debris or cleaning materials.
When using the stainless steel brush, be cautious of the aggressive cleaning action that may accelerate wear on the firearm's barrel.
Wear appropriate safety gear, including protective eyewear and gloves, to prevent injury from debris or accidental contact with the brush.
Avoid using the bore brush on firearms with delicate finishes or materials that may be damaged by stainless steel.
Follow all local laws and regulations regarding the cleaning and maintenance of firearms.

Instructions for Installation and Usage

Preparation:
- Ensure the firearm is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction.
- Remove any existing bore brush from the cleaning rod.
Attaching the Bore Brush:
- Select the appropriate bore brush size (22 Caliber).
- Thread the bore brush onto the cleaning rod using the correct thread size (540 threads for .17 and .20 cal; 832 thread for all others).
Using the Bore Brush:
- Insert the bore brush into the firearm's barrel from the chamber end.
- Push the brush through the barrel with a smooth, steady motion.
- Pull the brush back out of the barrel. Do not twist or force the brush as this may cause damage.
- Repeat the process as necessary to achieve desired cleanliness.
Cleaning Up:
- After use, clean the bore brush with a suitable solvent to remove any debris or fouling.
- Store the bore brush in a clean, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.

Disposal Instructions
