Description:
Non-Smoking Non-Fuming Odorless Flux
MARVELUX® BULLET CASTING FLUX The Brownells MARVELUX® Bullet Casting Flux is a premier choice for both professional and hobbyist bullet casters, effectively reducing dross formation and enhancing the fluidity of bullet alloys. Introduced in 1971, MARVELUX® has been a trusted flux in the bullet casting community. Its non-corrosive nature ensures that iron and steel equipment remain free from rust, and it does not produce fumes that can cause corrosion, unlike sal-ammoniac-based fluxes. Regular use of MARVELUX® keeps casting pots clean and rust-free. Additionally, it is non-smoking, flameless, and odorless, providing a safer and more pleasant casting experience. MARVELUX® is superior to traditional fluxes like beeswax, tallow, paraffin, and rosin, as it doesn't emit unpleasant odors during use. Key Features: Non-Corrosive: Safe for iron and steel, preventing rust formation. Fume-Free: Does not emit corrosive fumes, ensuring a safer casting environment. Reduces Dross Formation: Enhances the fluidity of bullet alloys for better fill-out. User-Friendly: Non-smoking, flameless, and odorless, improving the casting experience. Specifications: Available Sizes: ½ lb. (8oz / 226g), 1 lb. (16oz / 453g), and 4 lb. (64oz / 1.8kg) jars. Application: Suitable for any lead alloy melt intended for casting bullets or swaging cores. Incorporating Brownells MARVELUX® Bullet Casting Flux into your bullet casting process ensures cleaner melts and higher-quality bullets, making it an essential component for achieving optimal casting results.1 lb.
